Project Overview

Checkref is a comprehensive HR pre-onboarding automation platform designed to eliminate the manual drudgery of reference checks, right-to-work verification, and new hire data collection. We built the entire product from concept to production, handling the user experience design, the multi-role dashboard (HR teams, recruitment agencies, RPOs), the automated communication engine, and the compliance reporting system.

The platform automates the entire reference check workflow: a recruiter submits a request in 30 seconds, candidates and referees submit details via a secure portal, automated SMS and email reminders ensure fast responses, and audit-ready reports are downloadable with one click.

Key features include 90% faster reference checks with real-time tracking and automated reminders, instant right-to-work ID verification with secure storage, smart onboarding forms with customizable fields, and a multi-client compliance dashboard for recruitment process outsourcing firms.
